Season Wrap Up |
The 2007 race season came to a close recently for Tyler Spath at this years edition of Trophy Cup, held in Tulare California. The weekend started strong with a 36th qualifying time out of a feild of 86 cars. Heat race action saw a decline in their momentum as hard contact was made with the wall after a bozai slide job by another car. The NorCal Peformance KR14 was tore up tip to tail, the crew worked all night rebuilding and straigtening the car.

After Friday nights dismal events, Tyler was slated to start 3rd row in the Cmain. Tyler quickly made his presence known moving into the final transfer spot on lap 2 and gaining on the 3rd place car. With 7 laps togo murphy's law (what can go wrong will go wrong) went into effect as the right side fasteners on the floor pan sheered leaving Tyler's feet hanging above the ground. After attempting to stay out and losing the transfer spot the risk wasnt worth the reward, so Tyler pulled off ending his season and his 2nd attempt at Trophy Cup.
